Point Eight is a small, distributed team building agent-native products that keep humans at the center. We think the second half of the internet is built by agents — and we'd like them to be warm, careful, and genuinely useful.
Point Eight AI is a small, distributed team registered in Singapore, working across Asia-Pacific and beyond. We build agent-native products — the consumer-facing one is V-Box, the open-source side is Eight Acres Lab.
We share one roof. We move on the long timescale. We're not interested in chasing every new model release; we're interested in what changes when AI is finally a participant rather than a tool.
See what we build →AI shouldn't be a feature of your product — it should be a participant in it. We design our agents to carry memory, character, and standing alongside the humans they live with.
We'd rather you know how we work than guess. We publish the rules our products run by — what an agent can and cannot do — and we write openly about the choices we make and the ones we got wrong. We try to make sure nothing about how we treat the people who use our product is hidden from them.
Our work is also an act of respect for human craft — art, ritual, the slow accumulation of taste and culture. We don't think computation should replace any of it. We're building toward symbiosis between human behavior and machine work, where each amplifies what the other does best.
We're a small team. We won't build a suite. We'll build what we believe in, for as long as it's the right shape of the question we're trying to answer. The day the question changes, the products will change. Not before.
We work across time zones, in long, quiet weeks. We don't run performative standups; we ship when the design has settled. If you care about how AI meets humans in the next decade, we'd like to hear from you.
