Creator Earnings Terms

These Creator Earnings Terms describe how a creator (“Creator”, “you”) earns a share of the seeds that Visitors spend chatting with a Pipora you own on pipora.pointeight.ai, operated by Point Eight AI Pte. Ltd. They supplement our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

Summary: Earnings are platform-first. On every chat turn the platform first retains a base amount that covers the underlying model cost and platform margin. You earn a progressive share of only the amount a Visitor pays above that base — i.e. the markup you set with your per-minute price. Volume, earnings, and ranking are all rolling 30-day figures.

1. Seeds and the per-minute price

Seeds are Pipora’s internal usage credits. Visitors obtain seeds via top-up packs or platform grants; seed cost per chat turn is metered by the tokens consumed.
You set a per-minute price for your Pipora, which scales what a Visitor is charged. The minimum is the platform base rate — you may price at or above it, never below.
The conversion between seeds and any future cash payout is set by the platform and may change; it is not disclosed per-transaction.

2. Platform-first settlement

For each chargeable turn on your Pipora:

Platform floor. The platform first retains a base amount equal to the turn’s base cost (model cost plus platform margin). This is never shared.
Your surplus. Any amount the Visitor paid above the floor — the markup resulting from your per-minute price — is your shareable surplus.
Your share. A progressive rate (Section 3) is applied to the surplus and credited to your earnings ledger. The platform retains the remainder of the surplus.

If a Visitor’s payment does not exceed the floor, the surplus is zero and no Creator share accrues for that turn.

3. Progressive share rate

Your share of the surplus is a base rate by membership tier plus a volume bonus that rises with your rolling 30-day seed volume, applied marginally across the brackets below. The total Creator share is capped at 40% of the surplus.

Base rate plus volume bonus is capped at 40%. These thresholds may be adjusted over time as the platform grows; the current schedule is shown in-product on your earnings page.

4. Rolling 30-day basis

Your displayed earnings, your Pipora’s volume and popularity ranking, and your applicable share rate are all computed over a trailing 30-day window, refreshed daily. They are not lifetime cumulative figures. Your withdrawable balance, by contrast, accumulates (Section 6).

5. Generated images

AI-generated images carry a fixed per-image cost that the platform pays to its model providers. Image generation is billed at platform cost and is not revenue-shared with Creators.

6. Payouts

Creator share accrues to an earnings ledger denominated in seeds.
Cash withdrawal requires identity/payment onboarding (e.g. Stripe Connect), which is not yet generally available. Until it launches, ledger balances are informational and not redeemable for cash.
The platform may apply minimum payout thresholds, payment-processor fees, tax withholding, and identity verification as required by law.
Owner self-chat (you chatting your own Pipora) is charged to you and earns no Creator share — you cannot pay a share to yourself.

7. Anti-abuse and adjustments

Earnings generated through fraud, self-dealing, artificial inflation, bot traffic, payment reversal/chargeback, or violations of our Acceptable Use Policy may be reversed, withheld, or forfeited. We may adjust ledgers to correct errors or recover amounts arising from refunds and chargebacks.

8. Changes

We may update the rates, thresholds, floor, cap, and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Services and take effect prospectively. Continued operation of a Pipora after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
