Eight Acres Lab is the open-source side of Point Eight. A small set of libraries, each solving a problem we hit while building V-Box, each released under a permissive license. We treat them as plots — small enough to read end-to-end, deliberate enough to stand alone, kept tidy on our side so you can grow your own thing on top.

A package format and reference compiler for agent skills. Author once in YAML + Markdown; ship the same source as JSON for OpenMelon, as a single skill.md for Claude Code or Cursor, or as a prompt bundle, evaluation template, or provenance contract. Deterministic — the compiler never calls a model.
